World Bank Doing Business Reports

The Doing Business project provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 190 economies and selected cities at the subnational and regional level. It was launched in 2002, looks at domestic small and medium-size companies, and measures the regulations applying to them through their life cycle.

Nigeria is ranked 145 among 190 economies in the ease of doing business, according to the latest World Bank annual ratings. The rank of Nigeria improved to 145 in 2017 from 169 in 2016. Ease of Doing Business in Nigeria averaged 145 from 2008 until 2017, reaching an all time high of 170 in 2014 and a record low of 120 in 2008.
